The government is focusing on the quality of education and building an ecosystem for innovation, design, research, development, and enterprise, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. He also said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can play a big role in making technology effective, interactive, and people-friendly.

The Workshop on Changing Face of Cyber Security is conducted  on sucessfully 24.02.2020 in Mini Auditorium KMIT.

On 13th February, SAMPARK- a venture by Verizon and KMIT to bridge the gap between industry and academia was held in our college. It was an interactive panel discussion which included members from the faculty of our college, students and also experts from Verizon. The program gave us an opportunity to get an insight of the importance of newer concepts of technology like 5G, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, etc. We thank the management, faculty members, student panel and Verizon team to have taken this initiative to enlighten us with such knowledge and information.
The anchors were from Students' Council's Vachan- The Speaker's Club for hosting the event.

On 27th Jan 2020 Vachan- The Speakers' Club conducted its first V-Charcha today with a total of 75 Vachanites (trainees) and 6 Vachanaires (trainers). The session was filled with enthusiasm. 5 principles of Public Speaking namely- body language, eye contact, voice modulation, fluency in language and content were discussed. This was followed by an introductory activity. The response from and energy in first years was sky high!

Today KMIT organizing a YOGA session at 4:00 to 5:00 pm in  KMIT auditorium.

A yoga workshop was conducted on 25^th January, 2020 in KMIT by experts from YogaTattva Institute, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. The workshop was conducted in the mini-auditorium from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. The whole place was filled with students on colorful mats, indulging in the yoga asana taught by the instructors.

We were taught the importance and significance of Yoga in our daily life, and how practicing it even for 30 min a day can really help us lead a happy, healthy and stress-free life. There were around 80 students and teachers who gathered for this workshop and the response received was overwhelming.

We also thank Vinay sir for all the help to the students and for making r&d available for students to work on their projects. We would like the invite the faculty of KMIT to grace the Hackathon with their presence and check out the zeal,enthusiasm and the vibe of the students. The students have been working on the projects for about 2 weeks now. We also wish all the teams best of luck.
